About
Hello! I’m delighted you stopped by. Katy Rose Collection is the home of Fine Art and stories that seek to offer peace and hope.
You’ll find original paintings and sketches, art prints, children’s books, resources for therapeutic art practices, and thoughts on cultivating a peaceful home, even amid chaos and hardship.
Though my work is varied, the common thread is a singular desire to reflect the power of Light piercing the darkness. For me, creating is ultimately a reflection of gratitude and an act of worship.
Trained in psychology and art, I work to bring depth and meaning to each of my paintings. As a certified Therapeutic Art Coach, it’s a joy to use art as a God-given means of hope and healing through my weekly art class with survivors of human trafficking.
I especially love digging for stories from the past that might inspire us today. Whether I’m writing a children’s book or a blog post, gathering stories from travels or from faithful people who have gone before, I love finding all the little gems that nudge us forward, reminders that despite limitations and weakness, we can persevere in love, hope, and service.
Recent writing projects include Lilibet the Brave (2022, End Game Press), Every Moment Holy III (2023, Rabbit Room Press), devotions for the Love God Greatly Bible (2020, Thomas Nelson) and an upcoming children’s book (2025, Waterbrook Multnomah).
It’s been such a treat to collaborate on recent art and design projects with Beacon and Branch Candle Co., The Keeping Company, and Ann Voskamp.
Currently, my most important work is with my own four children who inspire every bit of my creative process, along with my incredible husband. Our personal journey intertwines with our advocacy work within the foster care system and victims of trafficking. My business was originally launched for this purpose and continues to exist with this guiding principle.
Thank you for allowing me space in your full life. Please say hello or connect over on Instagram.
Gratefully,
Katy
